PBS is Raising Readers

Last night, the Pre-K Counts class at South Mountain began a workshop series with PBS, titled "Raising Readers." In the children’s session, they discussed quality PBS programming, watched an episode of “Super WHY”, read a story and chose two books to take home. Later, parents and children came together, watched an episode of “Martha Speaks” and created a puppet craft. The feedback from parents and children was outstanding!

A special thanks to our friends from PBS!
